These terms cover your use of PagePinger at pagepinger.com. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
The service
PagePinger is a webpage change monitor. You add a public URL, choose details to watch, and we email you when those details appear to change. Free and paid plans are described on the pricing page. Features and limits may change as we improve the product.
Accounts
You are responsible for the email address and Google sign-in you use, and for activity under your account. Keep access to that inbox secure. Do not share magic links.
Acceptable use
Use PagePinger only for pages you are allowed to check. Do not use the service to harass anyone, break the law, overload a site, bypass paywalls or logins, scrape personal data at scale, or attack infrastructure. We may pause or close accounts that abuse the product or create risk for others.
Honest limits
We work hard to deliver reliable page change notification, but we do not guarantee that every change on every site will be caught. Sites may block automated access, change markup, serve different content by region, or require a full browser we do not run yet. Headless and JavaScript-heavy pages may fail or return incomplete data. Alerts can be delayed by plan interval, site rate limits, or temporary outages.
Billing
Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout. You can cancel anytime from the customer portal or by contacting us. Access usually continues through the end of the period you already paid for unless stated otherwise at cancel time. See our Refund page for refund details.
Availability
We aim for steady uptime but do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, network issues, and upstream failures can happen.
Limitation of liability
PagePinger is provided as is. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for missed alerts, incorrect page reads, lost profits, or indirect damages arising from use of the service. If liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the three months before the claim.
Disputes
If something goes wrong, email [email protected] and we will try to resolve it in good faith. These terms are meant to be practical, not a trap.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
