How PagePinger handles your data

This page explains what PagePinger collects when you use pagepinger.com, why we need it, and how to reach us.

What we collect

• Email address when you sign up or log in with a magic link.
• Google account email and subject id if you choose Continue with Google.
• Watches you create: page URLs, the details you chose to track, and related check history needed to send alerts.
• Payment data for paid plans is handled by Stripe. We store subscription and customer references from Stripe, not your full card number.
• IP addresses may be hashed or lightly logged for abuse prevention, rate limits, and security.
• Session cookies keep you signed in. We do not use advertising trackers on the product.

How we use it

We use this information to run your account, check the pages you asked us to watch, send page change notification emails, process billing, and keep the service secure. Transactional email is sent through Amazon SES from [email protected].

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with processors that help us operate the product (for example Stripe for payments, Amazon SES for email, and our hosting provider), and only as needed for that purpose. We may disclose information if required by law.

Retention

We keep account and watch data while your account is active. If you delete a watch or close your account, we remove or anonymize related data within a reasonable time, except records we must keep for billing, security, or legal reasons.

Your choices

You can stop a watch from the dashboard or from the stop link in any alert email. You can ask us to delete your account or export what we hold about you by emailing [email protected].
